Your Friendly Farmer's Note - May/Jun'09
Dec'08
Hams (Pork or Turkey) will be prepared on Christmas Eve. On the tail-end the richly popular pimento fragrance will be abound and basting hams with everyone's version of pineapple juice and honey/brown sugar. Ever so often the oven will open releasing spices in 'symphony' while poking the ham with cloves of all-spice. Of course, the finale is decorating the Ham with round, juicy pineapple slices and maraschino cherries. Leftovers from the Festive dinner with family and friends will be served at Breakfast all the way through to Supper, on Boxing Day, be it as sandwiches or ham slices by themselves. Either way it's ham and more ham.
With the upcoming festivities - Eggs, Brown Sugar, Anchor Butter, Baking Flour and all other essentials for baking will be in scarce supply. Don't be caught without these Holiday necessities...Call MEG at 876.631.3042 to place your order. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

- Sugar cane when freshly peeled and chilled, is divine; A real Caribbean favorite even among the Kids.
- Give your favourite Cocktail a 'kick' by adding a Sugar-cane stick as a garnish. You'll find the natural sugars refreshingly delightful plus you'll have a real cool and edible 'swizzle' stick :-) Cheers!
Food Tips - Expiration Dates: Be sure to check dates on Beverage bottles/boxes like Fruit juices and especially Coconut Water as their shelf live is very short. Likewise for Dairy Products such as Yogurt, Milk and Cheese they should be purchased BEFORE
expired dates. Tummies will rumble. Don't forget to check before you cash!
Food Trivia: Did you know that Honey has an indefinite shelf-life? Edibles, unless otherwise indicated, should be stored in a cool, dry place.
