Gale Peart - BSc, MBA Founder & CEO
A graduate of the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship at NSU, Gale began her career with SuperClubs, the Caribbean's only Super All-inclusive Hotel chain. She then worked with a 'Big Three' U.S Public Accounting firm and upon returning to Jamaica joined a leading Investment Bank, a privately held Conglomerate and later became a team-member at the only Jamaican-owned Commercial Bank.
Several projects followed including the revamping of Jamaican Restaurants & a Deli coupled with co-developing the Traders' Lyme, a social event for Financial Traders & Business people. Gale journeyed through ALL in search of an environment for the proverbial Home. Life. Balance; With Meg, 'the eagle' has landed.
She is an avid Backgammon & Kalooki player, does Calligraphy in her spare time and is a member of the
St. Andrew Old Girl's Association, SBAJ and ICEA
Shanti Persaud-Levy, BSc., MSc.
Creative Director
With her trilingual skill set, this trained Geologist also uniquely manages her photographic genius. Shanti has been the recipient of numerous national and international awards for photography and is a Founding Member of the Just Black & White Club (JBW). Mrs. Persaud-Levy's outstanding work is often exhibited at the annual Liguanea Drug & Garden Art Fair. She has also traveled extensively: Israel, India (including Darjeeling), North and South America, to name a few.
Shanti will guide the creative process at My Elite Grocer inclusive of marketing, advertising & film. Persaud-Levy is both a St. Andrew High Alumnus and graduate of Bishop Gibson High. She is a Chopin lover, an avid reader and can often be seen pursuing a new adventure with underwater dives along with plotting to 'rule' the creative world.
Shani Brown, BSc.
Founding Advisory Member
Armed with a hospitality degree from Florida International University and solidified by over 8 years of Management experience at Marriott International, Shani will steer Meg in the direction of elite, customer service policy & guidelines for any budget.
Shani resides in Marietta, Georgia, is a St. Andrew High Alumnus and plays a 'mean' game of tennis with tournament trophies, to boot.
Sharmaine Blaine
Founding Advisory Member
Miss Blaine began her career at Scotiabank Jamaica Ltd and later joined the team at another Canadian-operated Commercial Bank.
As a Service Representative at Comtech Ltd she honed her interest in telecommunication equipment & service. Sharmaine was a founding Price Smart team member and is currently the Front Office Manager at Miche.
She is a St. Andrew High Alumnus and the proud Mom of two.
